Position Overview:
Installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of Microsoft Windows server software and related infrastructure. Maintains computing environment by identifying Windows server/workstation requirements to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure; installing upgrades; monitoring server/workstation performance. Maintains Windows servers including exchange and active directory.
Network Support. User Support.
This individual answers to the IT Manager and oversees the company Windows server and workstation environment.
 
Essential Job Functions:
  • Daily administration and support for Active Directory and Exchange 2013
  • Monitor systems; remediate issues; for hardware and operating systems
  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Establishes network by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, and latency; planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and firewalls.
  • Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
  • Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
  • Upgrades infrastructure by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; research new technology, and implement it or recommend its implementation.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Maintain system efficiency. Maintain system security.
  • Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users.
  • Make recommendations for future upgrades.
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing work processes in various departments as related to the ERP software, Dancik International.Assist managers of other departments to identify operational inefficiencies and develop, recommend software or workflow processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:
  • MSCA
  • Three-five years work experience: MS Server 2008/2012; Exchange 2013; Hyper-V; SonicWall.
  • LAN Knowledge, Network Design and Implementation, Problem Solving, trategic Planning, Multi-tasking, Quality Focus, Coordination, Technical Understanding, Quick Study, Technical Zeal.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Diplomacy, patience and professionalism.
  • Some after-hours work.
  • Some travel required.
