Masters in Misterio
A beautiful blend of calming tones and textures come together to create upscale bathrooms in this home by Triple Heart Design. At the owners’ request, the use of natural elements moved to a lighter palette using limestone, marble and PentalQuartz in Misterio.
A wood-look tile similar to our Etic porcelain line in Rovere Bianco moves through both bathrooms in a modern herringbone pattern. “We utilized the gorgeous PentalQuartz Misterio on the counters with a quarter sawn oak in Flagstone from Bellmont Cabinets to balance the space and create serenity,” says Shelagh Conway, owner of Triple Heart Design. Beyond the floors and vanities, the bathrooms branch off into two distinct palettes – one in marble and one in limestone.
In the guest bathroom, Natural marble tile lines the shower and walls creating a beautiful white and grey traditional feel. Visual interest is increased by combining mosaics, arabesque and subway shapes using the same stone color. Polished nickel fixtures from Restoration hardware including a curved edge mirror above the vanity add a glamourous finish.
The master bathroom uses natural limestone tile to set the tone. By opening the space and dividing it into a large glass walk-in shower with a separate bath area, a spacious sanctuary was created for the owners to enjoy. A small nook with a freestanding bath from Victoria + Albert completes the spa retreat.
