Is That Brick?

Mixing the tastes of the two owners, designer Gabrielle James from Pavilion Company gave a dated kitchen an “Urban Traditional” makeover, combining modern and classic elements for a fresh new look. One of the feature elements, a wall that appears to be original architectural brick, is actually Porcelain Tile from our London Tile series. London comes in 6 different colors including the Multicolor set shown here, each an impressively accurate reproduction of authentic industrial brick surfaces.

Black lower cabinets with lighter quartz countertops and no upper cabinets give the space an open and lofty vibe. The large apron sink, Viking Range and custom range hood add a professional edge to the design while pops of orange bring in bright, playful color. Adding to the modern loft look, hanging bars were mounted over the tile to display copper cookware and keep fresh culinary herbs close at hand.

For a similar look try walls of London Porcelain Tile, white gloss 4×12 tile from our Subway ceramic tile line, and PentalQuartz in Grey Savoie for a durable countertop solution.
