Industrial Altea

PentalQuartz in Altea brings a sleek and modern new look to the kitchen of this 1904 home in Ladd’s Addition, Portland’s oldest planned residential development. A light grey quartz that mimics the look of natural limestone, Altea is a perfect match for the silver tones of stainless steel appliances and makes for a hard-wearing countertop that can handle the stresses of a busy kitchen.

Crisp white subway tiles with dark gray grout line two feature walls of the kitchen all the way up to the ceiling adding rich texture to the design. Black hardware and a professional Wolf range further the industrial look and are complimentary to the warm, white custom shaker-style cabinetry.

Rows of sturdy open shelving were installed to display personal decorations and sets of monochrome dishes that are easily accessible for daily use. A narrow center island houses plentiful cabinets for storage and a small seating area for 3 barstools. Over the island hang three pendant lights from Rejuvenation, adding to the exposed and industrial aesthetic.

For a similar look use PentalQuartz in Altea for countertops and a backsplash or feature wall in our Subway Ceramic Tile in the 3×6” with a medium grey grout.
